Play Date!

We had our first official play date this morning! Trish is a friend of mine from high school that has a little girl that is 5 and a little boy that is about 3 weeks older than Anna Kate and Drew.  She actually lives in my Uncle Bill and Aunt Judy's old house not far from ours and invited us to come to her house to play.  We almost missed the play date since Drew was up most of the night Tuesday night (for a reason that is still unknown to me) but we did make it despite being completely worn out.  It was a little rainy so we didn't get to go outside but they were able to find fun things to do inside.  They had a small slide in their living room so that was a big hit.  Drew was able to find a mop and do a little cleaning and Anna Kate found the kitchen and pantry and did a little snacking so you know all was good in their world. They had lots of fun playing with their new friends and I think it is safe to say we will be doing it again soon.  We may even try to add new friends to the mix next time!
We have a pretty busy schedule for this weekend so I am sure I'll have lots to post about on Sunday night!

Anna Kate, Troy, and Drew.  Troy knows exactly what to do when the camera comes out.  Maybe he can give my two a pointer next time because they sure can be uncooperative when it comes to pictures.  And that isn't because of their lack of experience with them, that's for sure!
Anna Kate, Troy, Drew, and Reese.  Anna Kate loves "bigger" little kids (if that makes sense) so she really loved Reese. She even learned to say her name and said it the whole way home.

Drew turns the cozy coupe over a lot to "work on the brakes" as his Daddy says.  The other night he decided to climb in like this and got himself stuck (it was his big ole' head that gave him a problem).  It was pretty funny so I had to take a picture before I helped him out.
And of course, Pete and Re-Pete. Because I was laughing at Drew, Anna Kate needed to come over and get herself into the same predicament.  Most times, when one of them will fall or do something we think is funny, the other one must do it also. Poor babies are so starved for attention!
