Monkey see, Monkey do
They love to turn flips. They are so ready for gymnastics and we plan to take them to an open gym for the first time next Wednesday. I have a feeling they are going to LOVE it!
We were out kind of late at Aunt Teresa's house last Thursday and this poor little girl was worn out (actually, they both were)! I was trying to change her diaper before I put her in bed for the night and she kept rolling over into her favorite sleeping position.
Not much keeps their attention for long but last night, the basket full of fake apples we have on our table sure did. They played with those apples for 45 minutes. They liked to dump them out, see how many they could get in their arms at one time, put them back in the basket, repeat...
Three is about all they were able to manage. But it wasn't for a lack of trying!
Notice how excited Drew was about this. They both horse laughed every time they dumped the basket out again.
Clean up!
Again with the "monkeyness". They have figured out they can turn a flip on their own if the flip from the end table onto the couch or chair. (And I know I get mother of the year award for letting them climb on the table in the first place but they are fast!) These children have NO fear! AK's middle name may not be Grace (as you can see from the picture) but the little booger sure is resourceful!
Drew planning his dismount.
We have a busy few days ahead with family gatherings, birthday celebrations, and a Super Bowl party. Hopefully, I'll remember to take pictures of it all and blog about it!
