We have been a little MIA but I think we are getting back in to the swing of things. My poor girl was knocked on her rear end by a little virus last week. She was sick for almost a week and it was oh so pitiful! Luckily, her brother didn't get it and she is back to her old self now! Knock on wood, my kids don't get sick very often but when they don't feel good it is so very sad!
My sick girl sleeping on my lap. In the middle of the day! That is how I knew she was sick for sure! I can only think of one other time in her life that she has fallen asleep in the middle of the day when it has not been nap time.
The night before she got sick she went with me to a Mary Kay party at Tami's house. She was so excited about going! Here she is with her makeup on. Isn't she beautiful! If you look closely, you can see a streak of blush across her forehead. She is creative too!
And I can't leave my handsome man out. He is such a funny little character! He is quite insistent that he must always wear his socks, shoes, and hat. This day he was dressed up to play his "football game". That consists of getting down in the stance that linemen do, running toward the ball when we throw it to him, and then falling down. He needs a little work on his coordination. I think the socks on his hands were his gloves...?
